The Pavilion of Prince Teng in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China was first built in 653 AD, by Li Yuanying. The Pavilion was to be destroyed and rebuilt a total of 29 times over the next centuries, last being completely renovated in 1989. After a day exploring the temple gardens and grounds we were treated to a traditional music and dance performance on the ninth level. A dim sum dinner and Nanchang beer topped off a perfect day. The deep shadows of the gabled roof and spires created a striking silhouette against the Gan River basin. The Giclee is certified with authentic signature. This print is an Edition of 500 in 2 sizes.
